Tronc Scheme

A TRONC is an arrangement for pooling and distributing tips and service charges, and the person who operates the TRONC is known as Troncmaster. If your employees use a TRONC, you must tell us who the Troncmaster is so that we can set up a PAYE scheme for the TRONC.
TRONC schemes don’t just exist for tax purposes. They are also used as a means of motivating and incentivising employees and rewarding excellent service and teamwork. Businesses who have introduced TRONC schemes have seen a real and sustained improvement from their team who value the increase in their take-home earnings and the sense of reward from their customers.
